As an engaged member of our Issachar Council, you share our vision of eliminating poverty for
future generations and improving the lives of those we serve.
Now, we invite you to join us in learning more about World Relief Canada and sharing the mission
with your friends, colleagues, faith communities and churches.
The resources that follow contain ideas and tools for sharing what we are able to do because of
YOU!
Volunteering at World Relief Canada on the Issachar Council is a great way to

multiply your impact by encouraging others to join you in supporting sustainable
development around the world.

There are plenty of different ways that you can
support WRC through this council such as:
• Committing to making World Relief Canada
your charity of choice
• Participating in Issachar Insider education
opportunities

• Hosting a fundraising event for WRC
• Put on an awareness event for WRC

• Make World Relief Canada your businesses
charity of choice

• Help out with some specific marketing and
fundraising projects and events in your area
• Harness our clients’ entrepreneurial spirit and
come up with your own unique ideas!
