HOW DO I CLAIM MY CASHBACK?
Once you have your electricity generating equipment
installed, all you have to do is register with a supplier of
your choice. You must give them quarterly meter readings
from your FIT Generation Meter. If applicable you should
also provide them with a quarterly meter reading for your
FIT Export Meter. Your electricity supplier will then make
your FITs payments for the electricity you generate from the
eligibility date.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED
TO SUPPORT MY APPLICATION?
• Copies of your accreditation certificate or number, which
is provided by your installer if your microgeneration
product used to produce electricity and / or heat from
renewable sources is MCS accredited.
• A (final) invoice confirming the generation system
has been paid in full, the installation address and the
applicant’s name.
• If you are registering on behalf of a company, written
confirmation from the company that they authorise you
to be their FITs representative.
Extra help: Application forms and fully detailed FITs Terms and Conditions
can be obtained from your chosen FITs-licenced electricity supplier.
